Description

A mature Silver Satin can grow vines between 1-2 meters long depending on conditions. The genus name is derived from the Greek word ‘skindapsos’, which is said to mean “upon tree trunks” in reference to the plants growth habit. In the wild, Scindapsus grows as an epiphyte climbing along the trunks and limbs of trees attaching themselves with aerial roots. Therefore, it’s a great specimen to train to climb up a coir pole, or placed on a ledge/shelf to cascade over as a trailing plant!
